Auto companies manufacture hundreds of thousands of defective vehicles (known as “lemons”) every year. These lemons exhibit problems ranging from something as small as a faulty Bluetooth connection to the engine shutting off while driving on the highway. Our legislature now requires these manufacturers to repair these problems while under warranty to ensure the that consumers get the use, safety and value out of the vehicle that was promised. These faulty vehicles often require costly repairs, and, unfortunately, automakers will often fail to uphold their obligations toward consumers.
