Two years after buying our car we found ourselves in an impossible position. The car had developed significant problems which rendered it nearly useless. Though we had purchased extended warranties and prepaid maintenance contracts which should have covered all repairs, neither of the two dealers we turned to for service could fix it. I bought 2024 MB GLC 300 in Dec. 2023. Within a few months (exactly 4 months), I unfortunately ended up with a flat tire. I brought it to the dealership to get it fixed, and was told that I can expect my car back in 2-3 days. More than 3 days passed & no update, so I made a call to them and was told that they have to hold the car longer due to a “Steering Wheel Problem” and didn't have the parts needed to replace it. Almost 4 months passed, no updates until I personally checked with them, and that’s the time they knew that parts had arrived. At this point, since I first got the car I was paying for the monthly all to not drive it for 4 whole months. In addition, after that issue had been resolved, I ended up having to bring my car in to the dealership a handful more times to fix software issues, unexpected check engine lights, cooling system dysfunctions and more. The daily stress that I’ve experienced through all those days was unacceptable.
