Nick Movagar

Founder & Attorney

Nick Movagar is the co-founder of American Lemon Law Group, LLP (ALLG) and a seasoned consumer-rights attorney with more than 20 years of experience holding powerful corporations accountable. He began his legal career representing Fortune 500 companies in complex civil litigation and class action matters, where he gained a deep understanding of how large institutions assess risk, defend claims, and deploy litigation strategies. That early insight now shapes the strategic approach he brings to protecting consumers across California.

Over time, Nick felt a pull toward work that made a more direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives. He shifted his practice toward advocating for individuals, eventually co-founding one of California’s most recognized plaintiff-side law firms in 2013. Under his leadership, that firm assisted more than 15,000 clients and obtained over $800 million in compensation, an accomplishment that earned national recognition from organizations such as The National Trial Lawyers, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Lawyers of Distinction, and Super Lawyers. Nick has been repeatedly honored as a “Super Lawyer,” an award reserved for the top 2.5 percent of practicing attorneys in the state.

Nick’s work and leadership have also been featured in major publications, including The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Magazine, and Super Lawyers Magazine. He has a long history of community involvement, attorney mentorship, and innovative public outreach initiatives aimed at making legal education more accessible to everyday people.

American Lemon Law Group represents the natural next chapter in Nick’s career-long dedication to consumer protection. Drawing on his early experience defending large corporations and his many years confronting them on behalf of the public, Nick co-founded ALLG to create a firm focused solely on helping California consumers stand up to auto manufacturers. His goal: to ensure that no consumer feels overpowered, ignored, or taken advantage of in the face of a defective vehicle or deceptive warranty practices.

At ALLG, Nick helps shape a team known for its precision, preparation, and results. He remains deeply committed to ensuring that every client receives the guidance, respect, and advocacy they deserve. Today, Nick continues his mission of empowering consumers, bringing two decades of legal insight and leadership to one of California’s most trusted lemon law firms.
